Let’s get to work!
Affordable Cars for Working People
We’re a Massachusetts-based nonprofit that provides
affordable used cars to working people in need.
Our awardees are primarily veterans, returning citizens, and single parents.
Car ownership gives our recipients a chance to get, keep, or grow a living-wage job!

We work closely with some of the best social services agencies that select “car-ready” candidates, and partner with vocational schools that refurbish our donated cars professionally and affordably.
Vehicles are carefully matched to suit the needs of each vetted applicant, ensuring they have a safe, reliable, and economical means of transportation.
Our car donors are able to deduct 100% of their car’s retail value—the highest car donation deduction in Massachusetts!
Second Chance Cars is a 501c3 corporation. Our federal tax ID number is 83-2999870.
